I agree with Ross that Optimum Nutrition is a good, safe bet that will deliver results at a good price.

Funkster, please don't tell us you go to GNC and pay full price for Muscletech cause you want to be like Jay Cutler.

BTW Ross, getting beat while posting happens to me all the time. but more often than not you are right on point.

As far as whey protein goes, Optimum Nutrition is a safe bet. Stay away from the more expensive stuff unless you're going to go with a whey isolate. You shouldn't be paying more than $25 for 2lbs of a good whey blend.

EDIT: Dammit, fourth time in two days that I posted while someone else was posting...and got beat.
ok, so when hrdgain said "20g Pro", he meant 20 gm whey protein or something else? do you recommend any good company for this?

Also anyone has any idea about escaping the custom duty? I ordered something from bodybuilding.com last month and ended up paying 59% in custom duty. I am in india.

Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey

GNC is an evil corporation. I will be the first to say it. Just found out something yesterday...they cut commission on Gold Cards supposedly in order to increase push money (commission) for GNC Pro Performance items. During February there were about 30 PP items on commission...during March, there will be 5. Not exact numbers, but close. And still basically no commission on Gold Cards still...which means that this is me in the middle:

I like helping people with bodybuilding. I get some good deals too...I bought 98 protein bars for $12.87 earlier this week. I bought 8 4-packs of EAS shakes for about $5 last week. I got 12 4-packs of Muscle Milk for $10. And it's really, really hard to find jobs here. Small college town, so...I'll take it how I can get it. I pretty much get to work whenever I want also. Super cool manager. I average about $8/hr. I could do more, but I like sleeping at night. Basically...I don't really care about the money and it's not at all like "work" so I guess I'll stick with it until I get pissed off.

I think I was required to sign a non-competition agreement. So do you want to be the middleman? We'll split it 50/50.
