Default Little Help?

I want to order some supplements just wanted some opinions on prices and choice! Here the grocery list.

Xtend - 2.28lbs. 90 servings $51.99
Priman Force CEE - 250grams. 125 servings - $18.99
Now Branched Chain Amino Acid Powder - 340 grams. 68 servings - $17.99
On 100% Whey 10lbs. Servings 155 - $60.99

Any sound useless? Does anyone know any better prices. Not dead set on any but the protein! I could definitely use help with a good, or better, bcaa supp. Thanks. E

Xtend is the best tasting supplement out there. The problem is that it's so expensive for what is essentially BCAA's and citrulline malate. Personally, I'm on the fence with citrulline malate as to its effectiveness. Some like it, some don't. Either way, you don't NEED it.

Right now I'm looking at switching my pre/postworkout nutrition to solely BCAA's in place of whey. 20 grams before, 20 during. Your best bet is to get a $35 kilo of BCAA's from Nutraplanet. Click Here!Yeah, it tastes like shit, but you'll get way more for your money! You can always run the option of trying a 75 gram container of bulk citrulline malate for a few extra bucks to add in. If you want better endurance, IMO check out beta alanine instead, which has been gettting A LOT of buzz lately! I'll be testing this next week.

Despite what some new research indicates that CEE is not as effective as regular creatine mono, I'm still a fan of it. Primaforce makes great products, but you can get the same quality a lot cheaper at bulknutrition OR nutraplanet. The key to buying CEE is that you should try NOT to get anything over 500 grams. Reason being because it tends to clump together really bad after a while in the cupboard.. At least that's the case with mine. Personally, I'm headed back to creatine monohydrate for the next few months via Prolab. Prolab's one of the BEST brands of creatine because it's all TESTED german creatine. ALWAYS, ALWAYS look for the creapure logo on your products! So I'll buy 500 grams dirt cheap, take 10-15 grams a day until it runs out, then wait about another month to buy another which enables me to cycle it on and off.

That's a good deal! Personally, I'm branching out using either casein or egg white protein vs. whey. If you have the money, go to trueprotein.com and get yourself a month's worth of a protein blend. You'll find you'll end up needing LESS per day of quality proteins vs. lots and lots of whey. I'm up to 8 scoops per day of whey protein (a scoop with every meal) which totals about 200 grams whey, and another 250 + grams coming from whole foods. The problem with whey is that it only takes an hour to fully digest and assimilate. Casein and egg whites takes a lot longer 2-3 hours.. Which for me means an extended release between my feedings which I eat a whole meal every 3 hours.

A cost effective customized mix over at TP could have some whey concentrate mixed in with your casein and egg white protein. 5 lbs of 40/30/30 [egg white/micellar casein/whey concentrate] is $46.80. At 15 servings per pound you'll get 75 scoops worth. If you're strapped for cash, you could knock the micellar casein down to calcium caseinate.

Now, if you're using BCAA's exclusively around your workouts, which I am, then you don't need whey protein. Instead, after your 40 grams of BCAA's are finished, you go home, take your carbs/creatine.. Wait 10 minutes, then take in your extended release protein blend which will tide you over until your whole food meal shortly thereafter.
