Default Mega Whey Protein

I have a question, in the bottle, it says:

DIRECTIONS: Mix three rounded scoops (65g) with 12 oz of cold water, and drink one serving 1 hour after you work out. To maximize benefit, consume an additional serving 3 hours later.

I'm not sure how much 12 oz is. I'm from a country where we use litres, and I tried to use a convertion chart, but i'm not quite sure as I got different numbers.

How much is 12 oz? Is it like a cup? a bottle? I have been taking this product mixing 1 scoop with 1 cup of water.

It doesn't matter...the amount of fluid changes the consistency. I normally use more or less than the recommended amount. Mega whey sucks for the money by the way.....hopefully you got it marked down to more than half off.

This is all Optimum Nutrition if I not mistaken, right? While I don't know enough about supps, I do know that ON is a rip-off.

Secondly, don't add water as per the recommendations. Add as much as you need. Some people like a thick dense protein shake and so they only add a little bit of whey. Some people want their shakes to be completely diluted so the add excess water. Choose whichever suits you best (try both and see which one you like).

FYI,
16 oz = 1 litre
12 oz = 0.75 litres

ON's Gold Standard isn't a rip off IMO. But some of their other products are. I use their protein when I can't find a better deal which is pretty often.

I think when they give your the amount of water to mix it in they are simply basing it on what to them gives the best consistency and taste...like Ross was saying. Whatever you like is fine but for immediately post workout you'll want a nice dilute shake with lots of water.

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.

I personally think On is a very good protein if you don't care much for taste.
