^^^ I agree pretty much with the exception of the BCAA part. I don't think it's worth the money to buy BCAAs. If you look at the amino acid profile of a scoop of whey, there are plenty of BCAAs...about as many or more than a in standard serving of just BCAAs. Plus you get other essential amino acids. Blood amino acid levels will spike pretty quickly and just as high, so unless you're worried about how it will sit on your stomach, I think BCAAs by themselves are not really necessary.

Make sure you get approximately a 3:1 ratio of carbs to protein in your post workout shake. Keep your calorie intake up and you'll put on some weight.
