Default new here and have some questions????

hello, just joined and would like to say hello and i have some question im sure you have all been asked before. I have just started working out about 4 months ago and have taken no suppplements at all and would like to know what would be best to take for a beginner. there are just so many out there i didnt even know where to start. also as far a diet what kind of food should i be eating to help my training. sorry i am new to the body building scene and would like some imput to help me out just dont know very much about what i am doing. so please if there is anything you would suggest it would be greatly appreciated.... thanks

Supplements are called supplements because they supplement your diet. Putting supplements ahead of diet is like putting the cart before the horse. Doesn't make much sense.

You need to be specific about your goals. Are you trying to put on muscle, lose fat, etc. in order for people to steer you in the right direction. Please tell us what your goals are and give us some stats (height, age, weight).

For now I'd suggest reading the articles on Bulking (How to Bulk sticky).

sorry, yes i am trying to put on muscle, age(31) height(6ft) weight(200pds). I would just like to tone up my body and have some cut to it. thanks

Gaining muscle and cutting at the same time is very hard to do, not to mention very inefficient. I would go for a full out bulk, pack on some pounds of muscle and THEN cut down some. Its much easier to do and chances are you'll get much better results. First step is to read the "How to bulk articles"
