Hey everyone! This is my first post. I'll do the post in the intro section later :)

Anyway, i have a question. I have been on Atkins for the past ~6 months. Started at 210 and now am 180. I am not skinny naturally, so losing weight was pretty hard. Now I am pretty satisfied with myself. The only thing that i cant lose the fat off of is the abs..i still have a small gut. When you kind of pinch it, you can feel thats it's just fat. Now my friend recently suggested that i take creatine and protein mix to gain muscles. I' ve been taking it for a week now. I am wonderin if it's possible for me to take all the supplements and still lose fat and may be weight. Honestly, i dont care about the weight at all, i just my abs to be ripped. I was wondering if being on a low carb diet and takin that creatine stuff makes sense, cuz it says there is 75 grams carbs per serving. If they all go into buildin muscle, then its ok i guess. But i am not sure. I also heard that you can lose fat by drinkin creatine. Can someone suggest how to lose the fat on the gut. If it's running, then how much...etc..plz details someone, because i want that SIX PACK sooo bad lol :D

O ok, thank you. Actually that was most of my question. I basically want teh abs ripped. So would joggin be enough to get em ripped? or is there more to it? and how many times a week should i run and for how long. I currently run about 1 mile 3 times a week (dont have any more free time because of college finals) But i will be done with school in 3 weeks so im tryin to figure out how to start working on the problem as soon as I get out of school hehe. I was invited to a foam party. It's in late June, so i was wondering if I could at least have no gut by then. How much running and how many sets/reps of crunches would u suggest?

My opinion is that a combonation of a brisk weight routine and some cardio is the fastest way to removing fat. A superset routine that breaks the body into parts and lasts about an hour and some cardio on top of that would work very well. I think that would burn more fat then just jogging.

o ok. Do i have to get my local gym trainer to measure my body fat? How can i measure it?

yeah, any cardio-aholics out there, wut do u think?

Creatine is ok when cutting, and get of the Adkins and do a CKD diet. It will lean you out more.

O, yeah and cardio is good but don't do cardio at the same time you lift weights. If you lift at night do cardio in the morning or visa versa.

And why no cardio after the workout? I sometimes do 20 minutes on the treadmill afterwards.

Thus, there are three energy sources for ATP production. All three energy sources are in use to an extent at all times, so, if any one of these three sources are deficient, or contradicted to work against one another in succession, progress in both areas of anaerobic and aerobic exercise will be compromised.

If your goal of aerobic training is to lose bodyfat, keep the intensity low, and the duration long, as this combination will burn fat as a fuel source optimally. Combined with a properly spaced apart, above moderate to high intensity anaerobic training regimine, that is 100% reliant on carbohydrates as the fuel source for energy, you will both drop BF levels and build a moderate amount of lean bodymass, in the form of your '6-pack' wannaBripped in time for summer. oh, hmm. thank you. Yeah i think im kinda starting to get the overall picture of what i should be doing. One thing though: what was that CKD diet? BEcause i am still on Atkins and today is my 8th day using creatine. Actually its my first day of the maintenance cycle. ANd i gained 3 pounds since last week. I am guessing the supplements had smth to do with it. So i was wondering what diet i should be using instead of the atkins one. (they contradict each other lol no carb vs lots of carbs)
