Default Now I Remember Why I Hate GNC Stores

So, I was walking back from class and decided to stop by the local mall to pick up some simple multivitamins that I ran out of today. No big deal as I usually just get some at a drug store by me but I decided to stop by the GNC store as it was closer just to see what they had to offer.

Turns out the vitamins that cost me about $9 for around 100 capsules online isn't stocked at GNC. Instead the guy decided to try to push me to buy GNC "Mega Man" vitamins or some crap which contained less pills for about $26.99. I kind of just laughed and said that I'm not paying that and asked him if he has any ZMA which I also ran out of. Of course they don't and again he tries to push some crappy GNC product which is way overpriced and really isn't what I am looking for. The stuff he was offering me wasn't even in the same category. For example, when I asked for ZMA he played it off like they didn't carry it (which they probally don't) and instead tried to sell me some hydroxycut. Not exactly the same thing.
So at this point I am realizing that this is pretty worthless and make my way towards to the door.

So in conclusion..don't go to GNC unless you want to pay outragous prices and talk to people who don't even know what common supplements are

The most worthwhile product I ever bought from GNC is their shaker cup! Those people piss me off because most if not all the people I have talked to there know NOTHING!

LOL I bought one of those last year from them. Sad thing is it cost me like $8 and was literally impossible to drink out of the sipper. Then the seal came of and it was unusable...guess I didn't learn the first time.

I happen to know the family who owns four of them in my area so I go there in emergencies. They give me 30% off and no tax. If I ever need anything from them they'll have it the next day. The best part is every once in a while I'll get something new to try and return it almost empty, whether I like it or not. Get a refund back! Alot of times they flat out give me stuff to test because they know I'll be reliable for the truth.

Regardless, though, I still go somewhere else just because I think their GNC is an evil axis of power.

Nice! I would love to be given free stuff for a honest review. Do they do this, so they can recommend stuff for clients or to decide if they are going to carry that line?

They respect the fact that I know my way around the gym. The son of the owner gives me new stuff to try because he wants to know if it works or not so he can use it.

Where to begin. You have interest in the two worst brands out there. GNC brands I've read have less ingredients than they print on the label. Muscletech is waaay overpriced and not very effective. Cell-Tech has I think 70 or so grams of sugar. Do you really want to drink all that?? Nitrotech gave me the shits. When I said that they give me free supplements, it isn't GNC brand stuff. I wouldn't use them even if it was free! Getting back to the point. It all depends on what you want to accomplish. The best protein in my opinion would have to be On's 100% whey. It's very cheap and has a great profile. For creatine, any brand would do. Celltech sucks, but all you really need is just regular creatine powder. I use Optimum Nutrition's brand. Both are very effective without burning a whole in your pocket.
