I dont know if its a Canada thing or not, but $45 is about what you would pay in a store for that in the US. Online, you can get 5lbs for $30. Check out some other sites such as www.bulknutrition.comwww.netrition.comwww.a1supplements.com among many others and see if they ship to Canada.

Once you convert that $30 from U.S.D to CND then add shipping it might be more than the $45 on that site. So that's a good deal.
