I assume that most people know better than to fill their stomachs with meat and potatoes just before a workout . Especially since this is all gone over in exhaustive and redundant detail in the sticky.
I understood exactly what you were saying...and just because something is in a sticky doesn't mean it's perfect for everyone...it really doesn't mean it's perfect for anyone except the "sticky-maker". ;)

Let me quote myself from the above post:

Quote:
What works for others is up to them to find out, but there are certain practices that I can recommend against pretty confidently as not being optimal. But I never advocate a one size fits all approach for anyone.
How much more clear can I be?

On ther contrary you'er the one who said that there should NEVER be any "meal" just prior to workout. Sounds like you think there is a perfect way, not me. There are many reasons why someone may not want a shake in that time frame. But not EVERYONE shares those reasons. There are many good reasons why some fast carbs and protein in that time is just the thing for a lot of people. I could speculate as to why you don't like the idea, but why should I have to?

My mention of the sticky was to say that MY particular points had been gone over exhaustively. Anybody who knows me will tell you that I would never say that one way is right for everyone. But there is tons of info in that sticky that others helped contribute to that perhaps you haven't read yet. If there are things in there you disagree with all you'd have to do is post away. Not like it's a closed thread.

Bro, I welcome alternative opinions to mine. I just like something to work with.

Hell you agree with me on post workout for the most part so I assume you have an alternate opinion on pre-workout. All you would have had to say is what that is and why, and maybe some info backing it up. Then I would try to speak to that if I could and provide more info if I still disagreed. See how it works?

But since I'm the one providing tangible info on the pre workout thing then I guess the OP is stuck with me ;

BTW, no hard feelings on any of this, I actually just want to say that I think there IS a point to discussing you opinion. The point is you may know something I don't, or have an argument I haven't concidered before. LOL, I can take it .

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.
