My fault, I didn't answer your question about the logic. I like the hit bi's on chest day, and tri's on back day, because If I do it otherwise I can't hit them as hard. The core lifts fatigue the muscles to where I can't hit them as hard as I could if I were to do them on differant days.

That should tell you something. Think about it...

And that the core lifts are doing as much or more for your arms than isolation movements. They probably do more than isolation movements.

Ok, well thanks for the help, I will give it a try then, and see how it goes working tri's with chest and bi's with back. I like having a four day split though. Do you think it'd still be alright if I were to train shoulders seperately? as to keep to a four day split?

Shouldn't be a problem as long as you get enough rest between the shoulder & chest days. I think a lot of people prefer it that way.

If you like 4 training days, why not try doing an upper/lower split?

You'll hit every body part twice a week, with enough recovery time in between to not overtrain just one area.

Well, as long as you keep your volume at a sane level, that is

haha, "sane level" that being the key phrase. I like hitting about 12-16 sets per muscle group. Well, per major muscle group (legs, back, chest) the auxilary groups (bi's tri's shoulders) I usually hit anywhere from 6-10 sets.

I would suggest Usplabs jack3d before a workout gives you great pumps and is fairly economical, if you have the extra cash id say stick with the xtend during a workout it is great to keep them muscles in an anabolic state, and whey is def a must after a workout
