and shouldn't the dextrose/maltodextrin be used in the post workout shake?
|
I use the dextrose/maltodextrin in my preworkout shake because it will provide fuel throughout my workout. It'll also delay my glycogen stores from being depleted so I can workout longer and harder. The preworkout shake will have less malto and dextrose than post-when you really need it. As for the creatine, you just need it either split between pre and post or take 5 grams postshake #1, then another 5 grams postshake #2. I buy my goods at a privately owned store in Orange County. It has the same prices as Bulk nutrition. Since you don't live near me, I'm guessing, just buy from Bulk.

I'm over in Buena Park btw... not sure where you are... I ran over to MAx Muscle and discussed some things with the guy there who i've talked with before, he seems fairly knowledgeable. Anyhow, i ended up grabbin VP2 and some CarboMax (maltodextrin). Here's what i went with yesterday:
Pre: VP2 (26G - 1 scoop) = 28G Protein CM (maltodextrin) = 26-52G (1-2 scoops) Post: VP2 (56G - 2 scoops) = 56G Protein CM (maltodextrin) = 56G (2 scoops) Dinner 30 mins after... already take a multi-vitamin... Also, i left out the N-Large cuz i'm not sure if i want that added carbs/fat (i guess). I'm trying to build without adding to my fat percentage, especialy cuz i'm having trouble working out my cardio times.... Any thoughts so far? |
I'm in Huntington Beach. I know Max Muscle is very expensive...That's why I don't recommend anyone going. I haven't gained any fat since I started N-Large-2. I guess using weightgainers scare some people off, but if you know what you are doing, you should only gain muscle.
