Expired Creatine?

I have finally been given the ok to get back into working out after knee rehab, it's better than ever.

I have a pretty full tub of creatine (Prolab Mono) that expired in Feb, 2011. Do you think it's still ok to use, and will have the same strength?

Also, I got it just to try it out, and actually saw some decent results, I am always looking for options, any ideas for something more potent that won't break the bank?
