This is just me and these are just "most important".

Whey (regular whey mix and isolate). Creatine. Carbs like malto and dextrose. Multi vitamin and minerals. I would just stock up on those things if it was down to most important.

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.

^^ completely agree, and would add Citruline Malate also. and 200 bucks would buy a lot of this stuff, it would last you months.

I'm with you on the CM. I would put it in there too but I can't justify putting it in the most important category. I don't know. I could be swayed since the results during my workouts I get with it, to me, are very comparable even to creatine. But with creatine I've been on it so long I don't "notice" anything. Chances are the same would happen with CM but it really does rank very high.

I'm on the fence with this. It's not essential to me. But then again if you want to be real technical about it no supplement is essential so it would be hypocritical of me to discount putting it on the list.

yeah I wouldnt call it a staple, but personally if your using creatine, you can see some very good results adding CM. And I mentioned it mostly because in a cost/benifit scenario its cheap/works well.

That's really all you need.

After protein, creatine, fast AND slow carbs, and a multi-pack (not centrum), I'd look into your next line of must have's:

- Flaxseed Oil
- Fish Oil

Then perhaps some "new" supplement you've been itching to try. Depends on your goals, but there's a lot of effective cutting supplements as well as bulking supps.

If it was ME, I'd still try to stay cheap and save the leftovers for food. After the essentials, I'd look into some of the other things you mentioned. I eat A TON of food, especially now, and one of the best supplements I've used is digestive enzymes. You may or may not need them, but for only $19, it's been a lifesaver for me. Saves me from feeling bloated.

You know what I forgot about EFA's. Good call. Since I take them in liquid oil form and since I can't guarantee getting enough from food sources I don't really look at them as a supplement. I would be taking them even if I weren't working out. However, since they are a sup I include them on my list as a primary must have. I think they are just as important as a multi vitamin/mineral.

I would say if your having joint problems glucosimine/condrotin/msm/celedrin are all good supps, but they are not staples for everyone since not everyone has joint issues.

IMO, never waste your money on glutamine. The rest of that is up to you, i would just say they are not staples, so dont bother with them unless you have some disposable income.
