Question about fish oil
I hear about a lot of people taking fish oil and flax oil. When i try to look these things up i dont see where the benefit they bring to body building.
Do any of you guys here take these supplements, and what do they actually do?

Thank you for the site. It answered my question on the benefits for weight lifting. I think i will probably go out and buy some fish oil caps next time i goto Vitamin World. They are pretty cheap and seem to have a lot of over all health benefits.
Any other comments on the product would be appreciated.

Atkins...4 Me
Say what you will about Atkins over priced products, not sure about the area you guys live in, but up in Canada, the stuff has just gone completely on sale (I guess since the old guy kicked the bucket!)
That's how I get all my essentials. I buy his "Essential Oils", because it's complete, high quality, and I know it's a reputable product (I've read that taking unreliable fish oils can lead to serious health problems and that it's common for unreliable brands to use fillers and bad quality fish).
Here's what Atkins product contains:
Bottle 60 soft gel capsules
Ingredients:
Vitamin E 10 IU
Alpha Lionolenic Acid (omega 3 from flaxseed) 220mg
Docosahexanoic Acid (omega 3 from fish oil) 80 mg
Eicosapentanoic acid (omega 3 from fish oil) 120mg
Gamma linolenic acid (GLA, omega 3, from borage seed oil) 96mg
Linoleic acid (omega 6 from borage, flaxseed and fish oils) 152.5mg
Oleic acid (from borage, flaxseed and fish oils) 202.5mg
per capsule.
I take 2 a day.
Not sure I really like giving advice to someone with the screen name "WhiteNProud". If you're a skinhead, you can take the capsules of fish oils and promptly shove them straight up your @ss.

Actually i have a major tan. I lay bricks so i sit outside with my shirt off all day in 90+ degree weather busting my @$$.
And i'm not a skinhead, im just an Irish-German kid who is proud of where he came from. Didnt think the name would cause any problems.
