Default Preworkout Supp

The supplements I am currently using are:
1) Xtend (prior to cardio)

2) NO-Xplode (prior to weight training)

3) Whey Protein (post workout)

I was looking to replace my NO-xlplode because of the cost. And the fact that unless I ingest 3 scoops prior to hitting the weights I really don't feel the surge. I was thinking whether I should use Xtend as my preworkout, or possibly purple wrath?

Also someone told me to add a TBLSP or two of honey to my post workout protein would be beneficial to me. Wondering how this would be if I am trying to cut body fat?

I am currently 190lbs 6 foot and a half inch tall. My body fat is about 14%

Ditto, I throw Xtend in my during workout shake and sip on throughout my entire time at the gym. Some people start sipping on it before they get to the gym but that is up to you.

I personally do cardio immediately after my weight training and drink whatever is left in my shake during my cardio session. The Xtend will help preserve muscle mass and cardio is a great way of delivering the nutrients to your body.

When I get home I then take the suggested one serving of BCAAs in my post workout shake.

Here is a good Xtend FAQ with suggested Xtend dosing/timing in case your interested.

Yea, Xtend is a great pre/during workout supplement. Drinking it pre workout only is a waste of the product IMO.

Thanks for the input. Especially the link sleazy, that had some really good information I had not previously read.

Another quick question, would xtend give me an energy boost as well? I mean obviously it wouldn't be anywhere near what NO-xplode does. But I was wondering if it would. Or if taking 200mg of caffeine with the xtend might do it for me?

Of course. Xtend has calories. NO Xplode doesn't, and so it never gave you energy.

Ok, I'm done being a smartass. I think caffeine sucks...it's a vasoconstrictor. If you really need it to feel hyped up enough to workout, then go for it..

I've veen reading alot and citruline-malate acts as somewhat of a vasodilator, correct? I know not as good as arginine, but it does somewhat? I could be completely wrong, however, so don't quote me. I'm asking to confirm this thought.

If you're being honest with the '1-2 years' of experience, I really think you should worry less about what/how much supplements you take and more about what your training and diet are like ;)

well, with my "1-2" years experience, I realize that it's the synergy of all training, diet, and supplements (in no specific order) that create a solid plan. I feel I have training and diet down pretty well, at least for myself at the moment, that is the reason for my asking of advice when it comes to supplements. Asking a question never heart anyone.
