Default Synephrine

Looking for some feed back on Synephrine, has anyone used it? Experiences? Likes? Dislikes?

I've heard its a good hunger supressor, but I want to find out if its a stim. I'd rather not use another stim right now.

Thanks

It is a stim. Not quite as potent as E. More along the lines of caffeine.

I've used it quite a bit. In comparison to E, I don't get that jittery overly 'alert' feeling with the synephrine.

As far as appetite control, it's nothing amazing. But it does have some suppressant value.

Thanks IK, I've used stizm before which has it in there, but it also has like 12 other things so I wasnt sure.

Any ideas on a non-stim suppresant? I'm running either ec or lev for 2 weeks, then off stims for 2 weeks, and I need to control the hunger while off.

Personally, I don't use anything specifically for appetite suppression. The synephrine I've used mainly as a bit of a stim. The appetite part of it was just a kicker.

A majority of products that claim appetite supression that I know of also contain stims. The only thing that I've looked at recently that doesn't contain added stims and isn't known for being much of a stim is Hoodia Gordonii. Being that that's been the latest 'craze' in marketing, I looked into it a bit. And it's typical of a craze in that there's very little research on it, literally no published studies. So I have to wonder how effective it really is.

How bad does your hunger get?

define BAD? hahah

Well, normally I get some pretty bad effects from hunger, stomach cramps, headaches, and if I'm not careful mood swings. My ex used to bring protien bars with us if we went shopping so i wouldnt freak out. Its the worst at night though, I eat my last meal around 2hrs before bed, and within an hour I'm looking around for something else.

Its not a huge deal really, I can control it for the most part. but obviously if there is something that can help curb that, that isnt a stim I would be interested.

I've done some reading on Hoodia, and I'm not even gonna bother with it. The last thing i read said something to the effect of "If you total all the Hoodia that is being sold in the US alone, and total all the plants being grown, there is a huge deficit" meaning most of the Hoodia you see here is fake, and they hide that under the guise of "It doesnt work for everyone, some people are non responders".

I have a pretty solid plan other wise, and the injury isnt an issue anymore, so i should be able to trim up pretty well.

Would the fiber pills work..the ones that just expand in your stomach? That's the best thing I know of for appetite suppression... I think you just take them between meals or before or something. I haven't heard any feedback from anyone on them though.

I don't have any articles offhand... but fibers are known for helping increase levels of satiety. Whole foods work better than the pills and powders in that regard.

How's your veggie intake?

Pretty high actually, every meal I have atleast a cup if not more. Usually its broccoli, coliflower, green beans ... but sometimes its salad which doesnt fill me up at all. No worries though, and thanks for the replys.

Here are a couple of things that I found when googling.... The GNC one is really the only one that I'm familiar with, although the other one works the same way, I believe

Chitosan - http://www.gnc.com/product/index.jsp...entPage=family

Propelene - http://www.fitness-events.com/propolene-diet-pills.htm

If you decide to do it, just make sure you take with lots of water. Otherwise they can get stuck in your esophagus...where they will expand and suffocate you.

IK is probably right about whole foods working better...at least they're safer. There are several new things that are synthetics that are supposed to be coming out soonish. I think that there already some synthetic things that work similarly...in which case they might work better than whole foods. I've only sold them to one woman who liked them and came back to buy more. But it's hard to say because about 95% of the feedback that I get from people that shop at GNC is placebo effect IMO.
