Default Nitro-Tech Nighttime or Nightmare

I bought this stuff about two weeks ago, in the strawberry flavor. I thought having a nigttime protein would be awesome, but in all it hasnt been that great at all. It has Casein in it, which is a really slow acting protein, and its actually sopposed to supply your muscles all night long while you sleep.......problem is everynight after taking this I dont sleep. on off nights i never have a problem sleeping. but nights i use this product it is so hard for me to sleep, and once i do sleep i will wake up about 4 times to go to the bathroom. i never have to go to the bathroom 4 times during one night, even if i do drink a ton of water or milk before I go to bed. And this makes me so mad because i've heard the one of the main things you need to build muscle is SLEEP. so i just want to know if im the only one with this problem with this protien or if other people are having difficulty sleeping with it too.

I don't know PVL, but anytime I up my protein and cut quite a bit of carbs, the first few days I'm pissing up a storm! Have you started upping your protein intake? This maybe the case. Hopefully, some of the guys will chime in with their opinions.

Taking a protein shake at night is not the best idea in my opinion just because of the water will make it hard to sleep throughout the night. If you want to get casein in before bed you may want to look into switching to some cottage cheese before bed.

Snachito- I have upped my dosage, actually by about 50g, ever since i found out i needed about 1.5g per pound of body weight.

Sleazy- I havnt taken it with water, I take it with milk. If that makes any difference. I have no idea, youd know more than me

Thanks for your comments

Penns, what I mean is that it is generally not a good idea to take any type of liquid before bed, just common sense. It may not be the actual supplement causing you trouble but the liquid that causes you to wake up. Maybe take it within a reasonable time before you hit the sack so you can hit the pisser one more time before bed.

Maybe try mixing it in some pudding mix. I heard that suggestion once in a reply to Instone's Protein Pudding. Instone wants $30+ for it when you can just mix in protein to the pudding mix.
