I am not really an "experienced" guy, but I have personally used Novedex xt a few times and its pretty awesome. I get decent strength gains and muscle growth. I am fairly lightweight, with lower body fat %, but I get a better "shredded" look with it. From what I have read and heard, Novedex is the best non-prescription/legal test booster. My brother took Tren Xtreme, which worked really well for strength gain, and also leaned him out. It isn't a test booster and its a little more expensive, but if you want strength and to get lean and mean, that is another option. hope that helps.
