Default Whey Protein or Muscle Milk? I am wanting to lose some fat but gain muscle too

I am 22, 6'1", 182 lbs. I have about 10% body fat which is a little to much for me.

Should I get muscle milk or whey protein? I am taking Animal M-Stak and Pump already. I have tried Whey Protein before but saw no gains at all.

Are you sure you have 10% body fat?

It doesn't matter whether you use muscle milk or whey. They're both protein. Whey would likely be a better choice. Don't think it's magic..it's a dietary supplement. You have to have a good diet & good training to see good (sometimes any) gains.

Why is it surprising that I have 10% body fat?

Most people don't know what 10% body fat is. If you have 10% body fat, then you are completely shredded. Very defined abs, veins likely showing all over your arms and shoulders and maybe legs. Something along those lines.

10% bodyfat is very lean; however, at your weight to height ratio it's believable.

Musclemilk is mainly a casein; therefore, it involves slow releasing proteins, so it's good during the night.

There's nothing wrong with investing in both, I take a whey protein shake as soon as I wake up and then again post-workout.

I wouldnt say its mostly casein, but its a good mix of casein and whey. Just go with some cheaper whey, as muscle milk is a bit pricey. But if you saw no gains from whey before, it definitely was not the proteins fault...
