Additionally, have you inquired why he has your training split set up as it is? Not a lot of time for recovery there. To be a bit more specific than "eat more food," (which is, BTW, solid advice and where I'm headed here), figure out your BMR, eat 500 calories over it, and break your macronutrient ratios into 25-30/55-60/20 protein/carbs/fat. -EK
