Default Zma

Hey all,

I'm just wondering if any of you have tried this supplement and your results/findings while taking it? My sleeping is hit & miss at best. I would like to get my sleeping more consistent and I'm just wondering if this is something I should be looking into?

Thanks,

IW

i've used it and melatonin...zma gives me some weird dreams...which isn't all that bad. melatonin just helps me fall asleep...but not really stay asleep. i sleep best if i don't eat like 2 hours before bed...not sure why...but it's one of those things i have puzzled out lately

Well eating before bed isn't a factor in my case.

Would you recommend ZMA considering effect vs. cost?

it's an interesting effect....trueproteins sleep capsules help me sleep the best.

but there are times i wake up early when taking it ...and there are times i sleep much better without taking anything....it's a weird equation that will never get solved

its definitely worth a shot...and melatonin is cheap as hell too...might give that a whirl.

I find that chocolate milk & chocolate chip cookies help me fall asleep.

I got some samples of this from NP back in the day. It helped me sleep a little. It was probably just the valerian & melatonin though.

i´m using ZMA for a while now and i´m very content. it helps me sleeping deeply and recreatively and i´d recommend it absoluteley.
i take it 1-2 hours after my second last meal of the day, then i wait for another hour and take my last meal just before falling asleep.

I'm using it.

I've also got GABA coming so I will try that next.

IW , you should check out truesupplements.com . Very good products and similar to trueprotein , but Canadian.

ZMA seems to be highly effective for some and do diddly squat for others. It does nothing for me sleep wise. The effect is often reported to "wear off" over time btw.

Valerian is good. The thing you have to know about valerian is that it's not a good PRN herb. You need to take it in adequate amounts over time. Most people take a big dose and maybe feel a small effect but get no real help so they give up on it.

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.
