from the 'tests' in this article i have an Internally Rotated Humerus. I guess this is why my shoulder hurts so much when i bench. What do you guys think of this?

I guess i should take some time an try to correct it, i wonder if i should not implement the plyometrics either?

If you really want to do them, only do the leg ones.

Damn, bro. I know you said you've had shoulder problems in the past. I guess that explains it. Good luck on correcting it, I hope it goes well for you.

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.

How do you bench? A lot of times, people have terrible habits, esp. bodybuilders. I've read articles for bodybuilders saying to use a wide grip to work the outer pecs (as if there was such a thing), or even worse..Flare your elbows out to really isolate the pecs.

Question, where are your fingers in relation to the bar? I personally always prefer no more than my pinkey's just inside the ring. It also is wise to tuck your elbows in before pressing.

I tore my pec from overuse. In hindsight, I don't believe flat bench should be used for more than 3-4 weeks tops before finding something else.

My grip is usually about the same, but my form has to be off. I think i push with the delts at the top too much. This is prob. why i havent seen much strength/size increase in my chest.

I recently started getting this strange pain in my left pec through my bi. when i twist or strech a certain way its like a shooting pain through the both of them. its definately time to take a break ... atleast it wont stop me from doing cardio, I can get big later ... i'm concentrating on dropping fat now anyway.

What does your flexibility routine look like hardgain? Have you ever had anyone assess your posture?

Do you know of a reputable ART therapist in your area? Somebody who can assess you and determine the ROOT cause and help you fix it. Not somone who just treats the symptons.

You probably have some damage/scar tissue in the shoulder area that needs to be cleaned up...

Not that this will solve the problem, but try a good massage. Maybe deep tissue or shiatsu.

Yeah I will be looking for a specialist in my area today. I want to find someone that does grafston(sp?) massage, its worked wonders for my mother. I think i'm gonna hit up the acupuncturist next week too, i havent had a treatment in a while and that should help also.

The only problem is my shitty insurance doesnt cover anything like this. I would have to go to a regular doctor, then get refered to a specialist, then have another MRI done (the last two came up negative). And All that bullshit is just gonna piss me off more.

For a small update, since i've stopped benching and pull ups, my shoulder hurts about 10 times less then before. It still cracks and pops, and when i throw certain hand combo's it hurts, but atleast it doesnt ache in the morning anymore.
