Default Back Problems?

When i do leg press it feels like i just did deadlifts; my lower back feels tight. Why?

I would guess that its the machine. If I do really heavy sets on certain machines I can feel the back support really putting pressure on my lower back and sometimes I end up with a lower back pump or even pain. (Which is why I stay away from those machines)

you could be leaned back to far, i know the legpress at my gym has a good space (about 6 inches) between the seat and the back so if its leaned to far back on heavy sets my back starts to hurt alittle.
