Bench dip problem

Dips also get harder the closer your arms are to each other.

I guess you haven't tried them with your arms very far apart.

I'm not sure which is harder but I know that narrow ones require less shoulder flexibility which is good for me because I lack mobility in my shoulders.

I did them for years with lets say standard position, right beside your body. I don't like to do them really wide cos all I feel are my shoulders, so I think people should really go with what targets their triceps the best.

Definitely. They are more effective for training triceps this way. Dips are difficult either way though.
