If you are looking for a 6 pack it isn't about training. It's about diet...If you are looking to just strengthen your core, sit ups, bicycle kicks, hanging leg raises, etc. will do the trick.

Depending on size and overall goals, basically just trim some calories out of your diet, and do more cardio, that fat will start to melt off and your abs will be visible

It's about both. And there isn't a "best" workout." It's about finding a good one and sticking with it. There's no magic, just a combination of good training and diet/rest

You could have the best set of abs in the world but if they're under a layer of fat nobody would know. You've got top get your body fat below 8% combined with a good abs routine
