Good point, I agree, but grit mentioned rows and "such", and since he says he's doing full body, that's why I say not to sweat your bi's. By the same token, the idea of "overtraining" the bi's with isolations mentioned before is only going to take away from the pullups and rows. If anything is going to be taken away from, imo, it should be the islolations in favor of back exercises.

Depends on how you look at it. Significant activation of the biceps has been found during shoulder flexion, i.e. like during a front raise. Many people bring their elbows up and their forearms past vertical for this very reason. They are pressing upwards at the shoulder at the end of the lift to get that last final activation. You do it in one fluid motion.

I don't know that one school of thought is better than the other, only that there is a logic behind it.

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.

Thanks for all the info. I tried the heavy barbell curls and added in the squeeze at the top..... whole new kind of burn. Awsome. I guess I just have to be patient for the size gains. I'm sure what I'm getting now are just "newbie" gains but it sure feels good to keep adding plates. I'm also trying to keep the constant flow of protien going so I'm crossing my fingers and waiting. Mabe in a couple more months I'll be able to post a few comparison pics.
thanks again
