Default Big guys...

Ok, I have a friend named Chad, and he's a senior, I am a junior here. But he's into lifting like me, but has been lifting longer; I think he's been lifting for about 3 years. I started 2 years ago. But mainly have been lifting hard the last 10 mounths. His little brother comes over and talks about weight lifting with me. His brother only in takes about 50 grams of protein per day as far as I know.

This guy is about 6'2, 220 pounds, around 11 percent bf, how do some guys like this are so huge, but never in take alot of protein? I am just doing 200 grams right now until I got a job. Just wanting to keep my mass for now, then when I have a job, up it to 400. But as far as I know, he might be eating more protein then I think.

your talking in terms of protien shakes, he could be taking in a lot more protien in solid foods.

I would suggest not worrying about what other people are doing, focus on yourself, and what is gonna make you bigger and stronger. what works for "big guys" and naturals isnt going to work for hardgainers and those with high metabolisms.

I know people who have never lifted a wieght in thier lives, but look like fitness models, that doesnt mean I sit on my ass all day like they do.

It's genetics bro, some guys just have those genes. Don't worry about anyone but yourself. I use to try to compete with other guys at the gym to see who could bench more...all I got out of that is a shoulder problem. Just stick to what your doing and let the other guys do what they do

Two years and five months later he realized the irony of this statement and laughed so hard that anyone within a hundred mile radius of the blast went deaf"
