well im basically a beginner here, but ill try and answer as much as possible for you until someone else helps you out with the question....

Bulking:
Goal: Gain weight and muscle mass not caring as much about fat.
Your calorie count goes way up in order to gain weight.

Cutting:
Goal: Basically get ripped. Lose some of the fat.
Your calorie count should be lower here than your bulk phase.

I would write more now, but I gotta go and im sure someone else will fill you in with more and better info.

Bulking: to add bulk/muscle by increased calories and hard training with the intend to add muscle.

Cutting: to decrease caloric intake inorder to lose fat while maintaing muscle gained from bulking.

So let me get this straight. You have to Bulk Up before you can cut your muscles?

Yes, Bulk up gain muscle, fat will come with this depending on how well you diet. Dave's clean bulk will come in handy.
Then you cut to remove escess fat and show off the muscle you built up while bulking.

For the most part you can't cut and gain muscle at the same time, like everybody want to do.

Don't worry about the abs when bulking. Just eat alot of protein and lift heavy.

Not necessarily, I know some of my homeboys who keep their 6 pack even when bulking. Me personally only have like a not so good 4 pack when bulking.
