I've created nothign but confusion so I'll just restart by re-asking my initial Q? hopefully worded a lil better.

When doing seated low rows do you prefer to use triangle or the 2 D rings, and if you use the D rings do you hold them so there parrell with the ground or at a 90 angle with the ground

I think I'm more confused than before...90 degrees w/ the ground.

ya almost exactly, exexpt the one i use has two seprate cables u connect the handle(s)too and each cable is connected to a seprate stack off weights so i'm sure it was desinged to use two seprate D rings handles but ive seen lifters with more experience then me using it with both

Not sure still, but I'll try...

I understand kinda what you are saying. The two stacks are used because it holds more weight. I myself always use two seperate handles because I can pull further in stimulating muscle harder. Nothing advanced about it. You can use more weight with the v-handle, but the two seperate handles gives me a better workout.

I think he means do you hold them ____ that way or | that way and if so i'm not sure it would make a difference.
