Default deployment gains

I am deploying this summer to afghanistan, im in the marines, I will be having alot of time on my hands and will try to gain some muscle/mass.

my weight is 185lbs
height is 6'2'' with very low body fat

my meals will most likely be limited to stripped usmc M.R.E.s and maybe some nuts/friuts here and there but those arnt very available.
I wont be going on many patrols so besides high endurance workouts I wont be burned too many calories in the heat. I am however on a budget and need some supplement advice, I dont want to go with all the crap you see in adds, just cheap supplements that work. keep in mind il be in a different country so some things you can think of that arnt completely legal here I could get sent to afghanistan. within reason.

Whey protein and creatine is all you need.

Size and weight gain has absolutely nothing to do with supplements. Blame that on a lack of a proper bulking diet. When you start this time, you have to eat excess calories or you won't be gaining weight.

LOTS of calories, 2+ grams of protein per bodyweight pound, low fat intake (don't wanna bulk up on... fat) Good luck over there Marine...
