Exclamation Shoulder press front v/s Behind Neck Press v/s Military Dum

Hello,
I am confused after I read an article and watched a video of Musclefitness.
The article said that front press if the best exersice among these 3 exercise:Shoulder press front, Behind Neck Press ,Military Dumbell Press. It also states that although the effect of these exercise are almost same it's the front press which is best and one should only do front press and not other 2 because that would be waste of time and power. Also the video of Musclefitness stated that front press is the natural way of exercise in comaparison to back press because it reduces the chances of injury.
Now from my experience and what I know, I use to think that all of the above 3 are equally good exercise with little difference in their effects while front press stresses the front deltoid much more, the back press involves more of back shoulder while the military press equally stess the 3 heads with little more emphasis on lateral head.

Guys please comment ...and give any info regarding my doubts ....

What my shoulder routine for now is :

Military Dumbell Press/Shoulder press front / Behind Neck Press ( any one of them in a schedule)
Lateral Raise
Front Raise
Rear Lateral Raise
Upright Row
horizotnal row ( similar to back but I pull the rope towards my shoulder with arms keeping parallel..I have been told ots a good exercise for back shoulder)
Shrugs(for traps as upright row also targets trap)

behind the neck presses are dangerous. dumbbell presses and regular standing barbell military press are very good exercises.

never press or pull down behind the head, its a good way to fuck up your shoulders.

Barbell vs Dumbell, you can load up more wieght on BB, but you work more stabilizers on DB ... its a toss up, use both, alternate, and alternate between standing and seated, get the best of all worlds.

To be honest I don't know what the hell a "front shoulder press" is supposed to be. If I'm pressing with a barbell and it's not a push press then I call it a military press. If I'm pressing with a dumbell I call it a dumbell press.

Pressing behind the neck is bad like Wolf and hrdgain said.

The rest of it is a bunch of crapola..there is not 'best' exercise. There are MANY reasons to use a variety.

You really shouldn't have a whole routine just for shoulders. They get worked by every upper body thing you do plus they are stressed by back squats and worked also by deadlift, etc..

Ditto to what Eric said, I really don't understand what they mean by "front shoulder press"....in my book thats a military press because the bar is in front of you and your are pushing it up above you. Unless you are talking about some sort of machine labeled front shoulder press I just don't understand the difference.

That being said I personally do standing military presses and don't do any work behind the neck, just like Wolf said I think they can be dangerous and they put your shoulders into an unnatural position. In my opinion you are just asking for shoulder problems such as impingements and strains if you choose to do them. Your shoulders are easy enough to mess up in the first place, not worth the risk.

I looked this term up and found some video labelled "front shoulder press" and it was a military press. They were calling it a front shoulder press because the barbell was in front of the shoulders. Maybe people use that term because behind the neck presses are so prevalent but it seems pretty silly to me.

@Eric3237 @Sleazy
ya front shoulder press is another name for Military Press...
just to avoid confusion..
actually I was also confused with the nomenclature
because in some places even the shoulder press which refers to Dumbbell press is termed as Military press..
