If you have adequate preworkout nutrition, then there is no exact timeframe IMO. The sooner the better as a rule of thumb. Myself, and a lot of others who sling a lot of iron usually spend anywhere from 1 hour 15 minutes to an hour and a half. I don't lose any mass LOL..
