Default Extreme Thirst/Urination After workout

After working out, I take 40g of protein in the form of a shake. The following two hours, I am extremely thirsty and I end up drinking about half a gallon of water. As a result, I keep urinating. I was wondering if this was normal and if any of you guys also experience this?

It's a GNC brand protein.

The thing is my piss is water-clear. I've only recently started taking the protein shake. So maybe like a month.

Yea, I'm thinking about that. I don't want to risk kidney failure.

Switch powders. I never heard of protein powder being bad for your kidneys. Wow, they should've put that on the back of the label!
GNC is about the worst brand you can ever buy. There was a study conducted where they found that their products contained less than what the label states.

Who is telling u that protein powder is bad for ur kidneys, I have been taking them for about5 years and I go through a five pound bag every other week. If protein is going to cause u to have kidney failure then you should avoid all the protein containing foods, such as beef, chicken, Tuna, Cheese, Milk, Eggs, and the list goes on.
