Default Weight Room Theatrics are boring

Hello All,
I know every one has seen it. The yelling and slapping. I am not picking on the honest hard core lifter either. I see nothing wrong with an occasional grunt ar gasp after during a hard set. I have done it, we all have done it. Its a hardcore trainers God given right to let out a whimper, holler or occasional gasp on that last rep. Hell, I fell on the floor gasping for air a few times after a set of battle fatigued Hacks.
Im talking the wieght room theatrics;
The jelly donughts are usually in a group of 2 or more and have to let everyone know how heavy they are going. Yelling on every rep and cursing at each other during a set and in between.
They guys that spend over two hours on the power rack and have benches in a semi circle around the rack while doing squats and deadlifts. It looks like they are at a Boy Scout campfire cook out.
Yappers in the dumbell area. These knuckleheads love to chat about everything but weight training during their workouts and could care less about the poor lone lifter, who forgot his or her walkman of Mp3 player.
Women who hang out with their husbands and talk about gorceries or the kids during the poor guys workout and talk loud enough for everyone in the area to hear.
Goons that have to do curls in the power rack during peak gym hours.
People, who waltz accross a heavy traffic area of the gym doing dumbell lunges.
New Trainees that sit on a piece of equipment and just stare off into space while you wait to use it.
Cell Phone users, people who let their cell phone ring in the weight pile and then yell into it.
People who leave their dumbells and plates on the bar or the floor.
I never forget, I asked a guy to spot me on a heavy set of squats, As I was goint for my last rep, I mutterd I was going for it. As I racked it, he was no where to be found.
This is what I call theatrics, not necessarily hollering and screaming just typical shananigans. Does anyone have any funny stories?

There are a few guys in my gym who are constantly yapping about something. Always loud as hell, and it gets annoying. They are good guys though, and I'll talk with them when i'm done lifting, or when i'm streching before hand.

I thought this was funny the other day. i walk over to the water fountain between sets and these guys are on a few of the machines near where I am. I take off my head phones and i hear them talking, i look over and they are on the machines, in the middle of thier sets, talking to eachother

I can barely talk after most sets, how the hell do you convince yourself your doing any good in the gym, if you can carry on a conversation while "lifting"? just doesnt make sense.

I'm lucky. All I have to deal with are dorky teen agers every now and again. Fortunately, my gym is largely empty. The members are largely rich people who probably forgot they signed up and just get billed the 50 buck a month automatically.

We get idiots every now and again, but it's more of an annoyance.

The best thing is that I have never, ever had to wait for the squat rack, and no one ever is waiting for me to get done so there's no rush. I can do almost my entire routine in the cage: bench, squats, presses, chins, curls (don't start!), deads, rows. About the only things I can't do are abs, dips and some tricep lifts.

No muscle heads there. Some nice MILF's and a couple of cute HS chicks (waaay to young for me, but some nice legs and asses to look at), too. And me in the cage.

My gym is pretty empty at the time of day that i go too. But there are a few guys that have been there for the three years that ive been a member who are, oddly enough, the exact same size and lifting the same weight as when they stared. Thats what they do. Stand around or worse yet lift and bullshit the whole time. One guy is a cop or something and has his police radio crancked up to the limit. Very distracting. I really dont know why these people even bother.
