do NOT hit A2G until you can do it WITHOUT rounding the back. Just keep going down as low as you can "comfortably" (hahhaa,...comfortable squats) go, and NO rounding of the back.
This is how i f'd up my back the other day. I have a problem with my hips (they wanted to break them and reset them at one point) so i cant get down that low without my back rounding out. So you will see me on the smith machine doing them the girlie way from now on.

How is that going to help? You're forcing your body into an unnatural fixed plane of motion.

I guess i should have specified, I'm not doing regular smith squats. I do smith squats with both feet out in front, dropping down into a deep sitting position, then back up.

Its almost like a hack, but i feel like it hits the quads harder.
