Default Got a couple questions

Alright 1, do you guys think its better to have a 2 day or 3 day split, I use to concentrate mostly on shoulders, legs, and abs one day and arms, back, and chest another, but I think I would like to spread it out a little more...am I making sense here?

Also I tend to do 2 exercises per group or so, is that good or should I do more, or less?? For example if I am working on chest I might do incline press and db presses. Is that sufficient or should I do more or just 1 ex. per group or what do you suggest?

Default Try a 4 day routine

You can try another approach which would be a four day routine where you do chest and try one day then back and bi's on day two then legs on day 3 and running and cardio on day 4.

The day 4 can be any cardio such as swimming, running biking etc.

I don't know if that helps but this is a routine I have done very well with over the last few years.

yeah, the last week I have had it kind of like...

Day 1- Back and Chest
Day 2- Arms and Abs
Day 3- Legs
Day 4- Shoulders and Abs

I am trying to gain and I have a hard time with it as it is, and I have a decently active life so I don't do cardio a lot anymore. I do it usually when I feel like I have a lot of energy.

Keep it simple and focus on the big lifts.

Squat - Monday
bench - Tuesday
Dead - Thursday

add in some assesory work and go heavy.
