Why do you base how strong you are off your bench press alone?

No leg work?

Creatine and Protein powder are the only supplements I would recommend right now.

The best thing you can do is get a diet to stick to. In order for your muscles to grow and your strength to increase you need to make sure you're eating enough calories and getting 8 hours of sleep a night.

Most people neglect this and they don't grow. There are also many free training guides you can find by doing a Google search as well.

But the major change I would make is getting yourself a diet you can stick with.

in general what are your goals. i know you said you want to drop a few pounds but thats not specific.

what do you want to accomplish? just being in shape. or benching, squating, deadlifting certain numbers.

tell us exactly what you want from your training experience and that can be a start

Default advice

Hi Sucky,

My best advice is to start small.

You have to fine your motivation again, or else - your training will soon be dead end.

Maybe, coinsider to do more variations in programme. Not only bench, legs, shoulders, tage a day off ordinary training, and swin 2000 meter, ride 10 miles on a mountainbike or so.

Ordinary training gets often borrowing, if you do it alone.
