Crossfit is a stupid jumbling of different concepts. I am not going to get into this because it has been repeated 100000x times.

Read up in Alan Aragon's Research Review how he deconstructs Crossfit. Even the best bicep coach (yes, sarcasm) Poliquin thinks Crossfit is silly - and look who that is coming from!

I am well aware of what Crossfit is. The only positive effect Crossfit has is that it makes women look sexy.

So you label P90X's concept "gay", yet you curl an indignant lip when someone swings at Crossfit? The OP does friggin crunches in his room and he's looking for exercise advice... Now anybody could blow 2 hours and take him to class about how futile crunches and pushups are in the spectrum of bodybuilding, simultaneously giving him his share and more of lifting advice...but that's obviously not what he's looking for. If he wanted to lift big and lift serious, he'd do his own research...as it stands, he's a guy who does crunches in his room and that's where he wants to stay.

P90X is ideal.

P90X is trash. At least Crossfit deals w/ real Oly. Lifts, Cleans/Jerks/Deadlifts/Presses/Front Squat/Back Squat/Overhead Squat/Running/Rowing....and the list goes on.

P90X is trash man, I'm sorry.

But thats enough of that, im not talking about it anymore, to each is own bro.

I would never...ever...eeevvvvveeerrrr consider doing P90X. It's not "my own", brother. It does, however, seem to be IDEAL for someone who does CRUNCHES in their ROOM and calls it a TIMED WORKOUT.

No?

Hi people,
Well I thought about this instead of the one I did and make it compounding,

5 pullups
10 dips
10 situps
Repeat for desired time,

And I've done crossfit but I'm not into weights anymore due to injuries etc, I'm wanting to be lean and speedy like kyle reese in terminator 1, because he looks like he would have trained with circuit training,

And btw I enjoyed crossfit but due to injuries I had to drop it, but I've been addicted to quick and brutal workouts that are bodyweight and resistance bands...

Write back..

Michael

Lol I'm asking would it be more beneficial, I'd try p90x if I could find it for free and if it works ill buy it for future use uno trial and error..

My goal is to have same body type as kyle reese in terminator 1 (love scene and beginning)

Michael

I feel like this is kind of a joke or something. Who bases their fitness goals off of a dude in Terminator... especially one who wasn't really that big or that toned?

Also - no, your workouts are still not going to be effective. p90x may suck but it has some form of lower body activity. all you're doing is stockpiling lactic acid.
