Default How to ask for advice - Please read this before posting

hi..

i made this post to help those who want to post their routines / questions and want advice on their post....

i have noticed a lot of people making posts containing their present routines and then they ask for advice.. to which the first reply is generally "how long have you been doing this? what are your goals? what are your stats? what supps are you on? what are your goals?"

well, in order for this waste of time not to occur, i thought that it would be nice if we made a template which will help you post your question more effecitvely and hear a response earlier..

basically, the information which we need from you goes as follows:

Age:

(Serious) Weightlifting Experience:

Weight:

Height:

Approximate Body Fat %:

Goal:

How long have you been on the routine which you are going to post below?:

What gains have you made with this routine? (eg. "i have become stronger", "lost fat", etc):

Please provide a detailed version of your workout below which includes all the exercises, sets and reps:

Please be honest with all of this information and those on the board with more knowledge on the subject will be able to help you out much more.

0311.. the point of this thread was for begiiners and anybody else who is a memeber and wants to ask a question...

if u've noticed (and i bet you have), most thread begin with the memeber asking a question about his/her routine, then recieving replies like "how long u've been doing this? what are your goals"... etc etc etc... BUT: with this thread in mind, ppl will post what is required and therefore help save time... both from the side of the "helper" and on the side of the "helpee"..

thats why i made this post..

I understand what you're saying. However, most people who don't write down their backgrounds are more than likely not going to bother reading your post either. Realistically, 90% of the questions could be answered by looking through the different forums and sticky's.

The SEARCH function works well, too.

Especially, if the topic is "creatine"!

this is a good idea but I think it would be better if we had something like this in the nutrition forum since i think age, bodyfat, weight is alot more helpful in that section than in the training section
