Default 9 hour blitz, need more help on what the hell this is

Ok, I get e-mails from Critical Bench, and I've been reading it, but don't grasp the content of it. Its for making your biceps 1/2 inch bigger every time you do the 9 hour blitz. Here's the site where its located at, so you others can read it and give me some more input and others.

I didnt even bother reading it, because i've seen b.s. like this before. Its really pointless to be honest. Its not hard to add 1/2 inch to your bi's in a single day working only them. the problem is they wont stay that way.

if you lift only arms, eat a shit load of carbs, fill your muscle with glycogen, and blood they will most definatley inflate like balloons. and the next day they will be right back where you started.

IMO, dont bother.

And you won't lift again for a week or two since you won't be able to move.

Alright, I'll fess up. Me and my 16 year old tried this last Friday, since it was going to be a three day weekend and we both knew we weren't going to be hitting the weights for at least three days. We set up two offsetting supersets, so we wouldn't have to change weights. While I did dumbell incline curls and close grip benches, he did preacher curls and tricep pressdowns. The next 1/2 we swapped off. We did three supersets every half hour, resting only long enough for the other person to do his set. In betweeen sets we CONSUMED MASS QUANTITIES OF FOOD. By 10:30 (6 ventures to the weight room) we were starting to feel pretty peaked out. By 1:30, we were fast asleep on the couch. Every set was to failure and we dropped very little weight. No, we didn't make it 9 hours. We both walked around like idiots on Saturday, and I almost had to ask thw wifey to wipe my butt for me, as the elbow joints weren't functioning all that well. It was great to feel an arm pump like that again, but if there were any gains after three days, I didn't really notice them. It was just kinda cool to do something significantly different for once. It did give us both a renewed enthusiasm for easy days, like legs  LOL.

Well, first of all, the sets weren't supposed to be to failure...at least I wouldn't think so.

3 supersets/ half hour? Did you read the program? You do one superset per half hour. Do another one w/ different exercises the next half hour and repeat. No wonder you passed out.

However, I question the validity of the program where it suggests that after the set you do an anelgesic balm massage (meaning heat) and just before the next one, use a Cryokinetic Ice Massage. First hot, then cold? Your muscles wouldn't know if they were coming or going....Ever see anyone putting ice on their muscles during a workout? Didn't think so.

No, we didn't follow the program as written. Too many bullcrap suggestions. We devised our own plan to beat ourselves into a submissive fetal position.
Not do a set to failure? Unless it's a warm-up set...it's going to failure, baby. To me, they're ain't no such thing as a "miracle set". If you have energy and strength for another rep...you'd better be doing it.
The hot/cold rub thing just didn't sound right to even attempt.
Like I said in my earlier post, this was something me and my kid decided to do just to mix things up...make us appreciate our regular routines. I can tell you this...leg days are easy compared to what we did last Friday. Plus we got a little father/son bonding in at the same time. Made for a weekend of interesting conversation.
Brad, I've read your other posts and I respect your opinions...but I never figured you for a "one workout routine works for everybody" type. Sorry I didn't follow it to the letter.
Bottom line...I feel me and my son are better for trying different stuff every once in a while, if for nothing else than to keep our enthusiasm elevated.
