I would recommend that you track as much as possible throughout your day. If you are tracking what you are doing then you can tweak different parts of your exercises as well as your diet. Sometimes taking a week off to let all of your muscles recuperate helps break out of a plateau. Other people say just keep doing heavy compound exercises and work through it and keep at it.
