I think that is very common. You have shorter distance to travel between body and lockout, but that depends on form. Majority of the time I see it performed with the bar touching the sternum area but every once in a while I see a few doing 'T' position bench which is not good for you and they come to the neck.. Also, if you look at a lot of power lifters that get all geared up, when they lift they arch their backs and it can almost appear as a slight decline press because of the position of their body.

^^^I agree with everyone on this.

I think a lot of people start out with a lot of variations because they believe in the different muscle sections thing or because they believe there is something inherently magical about variety for variety's sake. But if you don't start out that way, like I suspect TALO is saying, you don't see the point at all and the truth is when you first start out there IS very little point. The more advanced you become the more you need those variations to keep things moving and the more the advantage becomes clear to you. So it really makes perfect sense to me.

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.

1.) u asked a question when u urself are not only misinformed but u also happened to ask for training advice in another thread not too long ago. this thereby goes to show that u DONT really know what ur talking about and if u DONT know something u shouldnt really to give advice about that.

let me analyse ur post again:

Can anyone tell me if i am correct if so i may not do this routine my aim is to add musle mass for the next 12 weeks not only for 4 weeks
wow...after 5-7 years of experience u have come to "believe" that for mass u HAVE to do 5-8 reps, huh? wow.... ur reading comprehension is admirable much more than ur knowledge in this field..

Never heard of Zee Tv before, anuj are the soaps on there like they are here? All kinds of hot ass broads, with no sound?

oh wait, there is sound on the ones here, but the mute button is right next to the soap opera button on my remote
