LOL. No, see that's why I tried to stear clear of the hour comment. A circle jerk is when a bunch of boys stand around in a circle jerking each other off. It's literal.

We used to use it in the service a lot to describe a general SNAFU or when people were standing around talking and arguing about doing the job while the work was piling up. A master sargeant of mine explained to me what it meant back then. I always thought he knew a little too much about it! He also went on and on about a "clear pie plate"
