Default morning HIIT

i do hiit every morning on a stationary bike, with 1 minute intervals. Is doing 15-17 minutes balls to the wall better than doing 20-25, not quite as hard as i would've with 5 minutes cut off?

with HIIT you want to be as intense as possibley (high intensity interval training). Go as hard as possible, for the shorter duration of time.

if you go the other way with it, its isnt HIIT anymore.

Once you reach that goal, I would work on upping the intensity and not the number of sprints you do. Or you will be running sprints for hours on end
