Default Natural Muscle Building Food

I want to introduce some totally natural muscle building food that one can easily obtain and include in the diet. Besides the standard staple like rice or eggs or chicken or turkey that are already commonly known to many people.

Potatoes (white, sweet, new and red): For hypertrophy, potatoes are a clean, hypoallergenic carbohydrate source that is quickly absorbed and insulin producing.

Bananas: Together with other fruits like grapes and pineapple which are high in GI, contain more natural sugars than others and are effective for facilitating protein into muscles for growth, especially post-workout.

Cherries: A study in the journal Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise (Jan 2011) showed that cherry juice concentrate hastened recovery time and performance when taken before and after intense weight training over a period of a week.

There are lots of other food sources that help in muscle building but these few are my favourites because they are delicious and effective in helping me grow my muscles. Hope you enjoy them too.
