Default Anyone use an upper/lower split?

I've been lifting for around a year and a half, first with Rippetoe's starting strength, then a 5x5, and then a 4 day split.

I think I'd like to try an upper/lower split set up like this:

Mon-A
Wed-B
Fri-A

Mon-B
Wed-A
Fri-B

etc. etc.

Has anyone used a split like this with success? Any suggestions? Thanks.

Your questions is vague.
Therefore my response will be vague: Yes.

Better than no response

I'm not sure on which exercises to do yet. Probably 2-3 per muscle group, with compound lifts going first followed by the isolation lifts.

I'm thinking 6-8x3 for each lift, moving up in weight the next day if I can hit 8x3.

If anyone has any suggestions for a specific upper/lower that'd be great.

I'm basically just curious if people find it succesful only switching between "A" and "B" 3 times a week rather than hitting everything once per 7 days, like with a normal 3 or 4 day split.
