You're being very vague with your goals. 'Lifting weights benefits me' isn't enough, otherwise every johnny crackerjack would pick up a five-pound dumbbell and be Mr. Olympia in a month.

What is your ultimate plan in the realm of bodybuilding? If your ultimate plan consists of wasting hours out of your week lifting weights and being sore for very minimal muscle gain, then you've structured your German Volume Training perfectly.

Well i won my first bodybuilding. Competition att school at 15, i was off training for att year due to college and depression, i started again after a year researching bodybuilding, i got on att bulk for half att year got up to 13 and att half stone, and i had a injury i damaged my back, (almost disc slip due to friendknocking me while i was squatting 90kg for 1rm,) i was having no training for another year!! So this year ive suffered bad depression uno suicide attempts which im not proud of, but now ive got into training im wanting intense workouts so i saw GVT and i heard its boring but reaps results fast, but at the moment im heaviest ive gotten im 14 and a half stone!

My goals are to get to 15 maybe more stone of muscle in roughly 1-2 months, i eat roughly 5000-8000 calories a day and being more dense and well veiny arms haha,
I ask questions on here to get good answers and motivation on my subject and actual scientific insight and experience talk who have used this programme.

I just need to know will it benefit with my goals and is it structured correctly!

Who has used this and gotten good results?

Off topic how can i get rid of inflammation of the chest wall its on my left chest im taking ibprofen any ideas because it hurts when i turn att certain way
Michael.

You are beginning to sound like a bb.com troll....

If you did research for a year into training how could you come to the conclusion that bodyweight only training is the best for you?

bullshit you ever did any research in your life. you use the phrase '5000-8000' calories as though they're the same thing, you can't write your own workouts at all, you don't know how to train or recuperate from injuries, and your goal is to look like a dude in terminator

You heard wrong. What part about "being sore with minimal muscle gain" don't you get? If you're actually eating 5000 calories a day, I think it's safe to assume that you're trying to grow bulk and muscle...well you're not going to do that with GVT. That's fuckin pump training..."edurance" training. That's not going to bulk you up, it may 'tone and shred' if done with the right diet, but it'll never be a good bulking workout.

^^^ I agree with you....but I have to say, that word - "tone" fucking irritates the shit outta me. There is no "tone". However, the OP seems to be an idiot so that word might help him out.

I also think that winning a bb comp at 15 is retarded because your competition is gonna such compared to the Pro's.....unless ofcourse you were competing at the Pro's at the age of 15 but I doubt that because you're asking beginner questions on this site.

GVT is retarded even for strength endurance.

Yep!

Doing GVT to get better at GVT probably isn't the most effective way to get better at GVT. That should tell you something.
