you'll also want to keep fat to a minimum PWO. as you are tyring to get amino acids into your system as quickly as possible and the fat slows digestion

Not to contradict what is said in clean bulking 101, cause dave is a very smart man and that write up is great. But if you are having trouble putting on wieght, I say eat everything you can get your hands on. Screw counting cals if you metabolism is that high ... eat eat eat then eat some more. Lift your ass off, then rest. dont get me wrong, make sure your gettin all the carbs, protien, and fats at the right times ... but then go over and above that.

Me on the other hand, if i do that, I blow up like a god dam balloon. but I've been bulking since birth so ....

Great advice. To me this is one of the single most important things you can do and that is to drink a PWO Shake. And as SDF said just protein and carbs (dextrose or maltodex or a combination of the 2)

redser.....type in calories.com and there are a couple of websites that you can go to that will give calorie counters, they even have hand helds that you can keep with you at all times, and if I'm not mistaken it either has it already programed in or you can download 1000's of food items that will help you keep an accurate count of calorie intake each day. It's also good to keep a journal of each days intake and review your gains monthly, so you can make adjustments as needed.

Have hust got back from the stores and picked up two things

Nutrition for idiots.
I think for someone who doesent know much its very good.
I now after only an hour or two reading it know the difference between protein/carb cals and fat cals.

4 cals to 1 gm of protein/carb
9 cals to 1 gm of fat

difference between animal proteins and vegetable proteins
the egg being the best except for the cholesterol

Oh and soy protein is the only veg. protein that is perfect.

will be calculating my bmi tomorrow if i have time.

also and this is very important i think.
I always knew i had to get protein to build muscle but i didnt know that protein is muscle protein is pretty much everything hair nails even the making of neurotransmitters.

so if i'm not getting enough protein how can i build new cells.

The second thing i got and i only got it cos i couldnt find a gnc or a vitamin shoppe around me was a whey protein shake.
Its called Carborite sugar free 24g protein
cal 150 cal from fat 20
Its a whey protein isolate, non dairy creamer, salt cellulose gum etc.

I want to ask dr x do i go to a vitamin store and ask for dextrose and
maltodex and also which is which protein or carb or have I got it completely arseways.
Also can I add to the powder i bought to make a combo

ps what is that gnc weight gain 1850 Is that worth taking.

go to the main forum page of this website.....on the left hand side of the page towards the top you'll see BN....go there....it has everything you could need. I'm fortunate enough to live down the road from there walk in store so it's a little easier to get what I need without the wait. They have good pricing as well.

if your having problems finding a health store just order it online only downside is u cant start using it the same day because of shipping but youll probably save some cash on your protien powders even with shipping
