Default newbie to bodybuilding

My partner at work and I just started going to a client who is a bodybuilder and chiropractor. He has won a few competitions. He is going to train and nutrition counsel us. He gave us a diet to follow and told us to journal our food intake. We are going to lift with him 3 days a week, aerobic excercise 3 days a week, and rest one day a week. We have no excuses to not lose fat and gain muscle.

Anyway, here are my measurements starting out:

Height 5' 8.5"
Weight 237.5
body fat 23.8%
Shoulders 53"
Chest 46"
Torso 41 7/8"
Upper thigh 26"
Calf 18.25"
Biceps 16"

Any input as to what I should strive for in my measurements? I know I want to get the Body fat down to 10% or less, and I was thinking I would like to get the torso down to 32". But the others I don't have a clue on. The trainer says I have the mesomorph body type, so I should do well and look great doing bodybuilding.

Thanks

welll since i think your training with a bodybuilder and a chiropractor theres probably not much that he cant already tell u, all i can say is good luck. and since your a mesomorph you should do pretty well you have an greater advantage over people who are lets say ectomorph. also take some pics of before and after i think youll really want to see the change
