Default no money no protein

ive recently had a major drop in funds available for my bodybuilding aspirations and am no longer able to keep buying the whey protein i was having for the last 2- 3 months on a twice to three times a day basis. i have not noticede any major changes in strength in any of the exercises so far and have recently increased my shoulder press and deadlift even thoguh ive dropped below 50-60 grams of it per day.i weigh 150-155 pounds and have been lifting for 4 months with some big injuries that have slowed overall progress. can i still grow with this much protein or will it catch up with me. the biggest protein intake ive had recently (last 3 weeks)was 10 egg whites and a large portion of peas last night

If your looking for something cheap, but still has a good source of protein then :

peanut butter
milk
cottage cheese
nuts
tuna

These are just a few things that I had to use while in College and the $$ just wasn't there. I think you should try your best to get over 60g per day.

I dont know your stats but you should be trying to get a gram of protein per pound at least. Some good choices for protein were stated above. Bear in mind you don't need the most expensive protein on the shelf and buying in bulk online can be cheapest. If you can't afford it 2-3 times a day just take 1 shake a day for pwo.

The statistics on sanity are that one out of every four persons is suffering from some sort of mental illness. Think of your three best friends -- if they're okay, then it's you.
